The Broward State Attorney’s Office Criminal Investigations Unit mission is to assist the Broward SAO to successful prosecutions. The locating of victims and witnesses, and the service of subpoenas to them, is our primary day to day task. However, Investigators may also be asked to review current cases as well as take sworn statements from victims, or witnesses. Investigators may also be required to testify in court in regard to any specific case they may have been assigned to.
